Road Travel |
| The Skete is situated in Cannich just off the A831 Drumnadrochit - Beauly road. Visitors from the south have two routes they can choose from. The speedier option is usually the A9 major trunk road that stretches from Central Scotland to Inverness and beyond. Travellers on reaching Inverness may then head south on the A82 along the shores of Loch Ness to Drumnadrochit and from there take the A831 to Cannich. Alternatively, from Inverness you may stay on the A9, cross the Kessock Bridge and then head towards Muir of Ord and Beauly. From here enjoy a pleasant drive on the A831 through Strathglass to Cannich. |
| However, the more scenic but longer route from the central belt is the A82 that takes in Glencoe, Fort Willian & Ben Nevis, the Caledonian Canal to Fort Augustus and the shores of Loch Ness towards Drumnadrochit. |

Air Travel |

Bus Travel |
Daily services operate between Inverness and Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen with connections from all parts of the UK. There is a local bus service between Inverness and Cannich though this varies with school term time and national & local public holidays.
